A fast-growing Victorian council has begun its journey toward digitisation with the adoption of a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
Cardinia Shire Council is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria and will soon introduce a SaaS solution from TechnologyOne to better streamline the growing complexity of its services.
Council Chief Executive Officer, Carol Jeffs, said Cardinia is proud of its growth, but must prepare to support future residents and the growing complexity of Council projects.
“Last year Cardinia Shire saw a 2.4 per cent increase in the number of rateable properties. At the same time, we’ve committed to delivering a $99 million capital works program in 2022-23, with another $219 million earmarked up until 2025-26,” Mr Jeffs said.
“With all this growth we knew we needed to have the right modern technology and platforms in place to make data-driven decisions and to ensure every dollar is going to help and support the community in a sustainable way.”
TechnologyOne CEO, Ed Chung, said he was thrilled to partner with Cardinia Shire Council, commending the government’s leadership for their bold modernisation plans.
