The South Australian Special Local Roads Program is entering into its final weeks for applications, with councils still able to apply for funding to support local road projects until 29 April.
The program, which is unique to South Australia, provides essential funding for strategic and significant roads in metropolitan and regional areas across the state.
Applications for the 2024–25 Special Local Roads Program must be lodged by 4pm on Monday 29 April to be considered during this round.
All applications must include a council contribution of:
- No less than one-third of the total project cost for rural and regional councils
- No less than one-half of the total project cost for metropolitan councils
All South Australian councils are eligible to apply.
