Programmed is Bayside City Council’s single head contractor, responsible for providing cleaning services, asset, maintenance management services, minor works and delivering services on a planned, reactive, or ad-hoc basis. In March 2023 the partnership celebrated its first year anniversary – marking twelve months of collaboration.
During the first year, Programmed received 305 maintenance call-outs and managed 345 assets across the Council area, including libraries, sports pavilions, kindergartens, senior citizens centers and maternal child health services.
During this time, Programmed also successfully delivered completion of works on a group of facilities across the Council, namely Hampton Library, Beaumaris Library and Hurlingham Park smart lockers.
Numerous works had to be undertaken with facilities still in full usage, and the Council’s first unmanned extended-hours library at Hampton Library was completed too.
Programmed said it is grateful for the relationships it has built and developed throughout this year with the Bayside City Council teams, and look forward to maintaining and safeguarding these essential and much-loved community facilities into the future.
