The New South Wales Government is inviting local councils to participate in two virtual roundtables, to learn how it can support local governments to adopt place-based uses of technology and data solutions.
The State Government wants to hear from councils using technologies, data insights and connected devices to improve community services and operational efficiency, or those who wish to start.
The insights gained will help the New South Wales Government update its Smart Places Action Plan.
Local council officers in New South Wales are encouraged to attend, including those working as:
- Community strategic planners, policy and community engagement professionals
- Precinct managers, strategic land use planners and place designers, including open space
- Asset and infrastructure planners and managers
- Data and ICT professionals
- Innovation and strategy
- Economic development professionals
There will be two virtual roundtables for council officers to share experiences and ideas.
The two sessions are:
