The Local Government Transport Advisory Panel (LGTAP) is looking for two local government representatives to join its membership for a four-year term, with nominations open until 13 May 2024.

Previous members nominated by the South Australian Local Government Association are eligible for reappointment.

The successful candidate must attend at least three meetings per year, generally at a location to be determined by the Chair.

Nominees will ideally have appropriate qualifications, experience and/or knowledge in infrastructure, planning and delivery, grant management, project management, financial management and governance.

Nominees must be a current employee of a South Australian council.

Following the close of nominations, a meeting of the LGA Nominations Committee will be held to consider nominations.

Recommendations from the Nominations Committee will be considered by the LGA Board of Directors.

An update will be provided to nominating councils’ CEOs once a successful candidate has been decided.
