The City of Darebin has appointed its newest CEO.

City of Darebin Mayor, Kristine Olaris, welcomed Anne Howard to the role and highlighted her extensive local government experience in executive roles.

“We are delighted to announce Anne as the new CEO of Darebin, who brings a wealth of experience in senior executive roles, most recently as CEO of Colac Otway Shire,” Mayor Olaris said.

“Anne’s experience spans infrastructure management, governance, finance, corporate planning and community planning across a number of councils, which we know are vitally important issues for the Darebin community.”

Howard is known for her professional yet approachable leadership style. She is dedicated to driving positive change and development, leveraging her extensive experience to benefit the communities she serves. Her commitment to excellence and her proactive approach makes her a respected and valued leader in her field.

Howard will join Darebin in July. Michael Tudball will continue as Interim CEO until her commencement.
