A notable project is the 900m Nerang River crossing on the Gold Coast, involving drilling beneath the river, Light Rail, and Sundale Bridge. Using dual rigs, gyroscopic and radar guidance, and a continuous drill string, the crossing was completed incident-free. The 1200mm HDPE pipe was towed 5km along the Nerang River and Broadwater with careful planning to protect the environment.
