The South Australian Local Government Association (LGA) is seeking expressions of interest from regional CEOs to nominate for its CEO Advisory Group.
The CEO Advisory Group provides important advice to the LGA on the design and delivery of policy and services to members.
The inaugural group was established in November 2018 and is a valued part of the LGA decision making framework.
The primary role of the advisory group is to consider:
- The value of services offered to members
- Proposals for the development of existing or new services by the LGA
- The effectiveness of operational policies adopted by the LGA in connection with member services.
The CEO Advisory Group also advises on policy proposals and the application of legislative alternatives.
The LGA said that expressions of interest must be received by close of business Friday 23 February 2024.
Nominations will be considered at the LGA Board of Directors meeting in March 2024.
