The countdown is almost over – Converge Expo 2025 opens its doors tomorrow at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across Australia and beyond.
Over two full days, attendees will have the chance to explore cutting-edge projects, hear from sector experts, and connect with almost 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and solutions.
The Major Projects Stage will put Australia’s most ambitious infrastructure initiatives in the spotlight. Attendees can look forward to HDR & Kapitol Group presenting on data centres for a connected world, CPB Contractors showcasing the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East, Laing O’Rourke sharing insights from the Australia–Singapore Military Training Initiative Facilities Project at Shoalwater Bay, and Webuild discussing the Ceres Urea Plant.
Other presentations will see McConnell Dowell presenting the New Bridgewater Bridge, BMD and Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) unpacking the Mickleham Road Upgrade, and a behind-the-scenes look at Inland Rail will also be featured, offering a never seen look at strategic planning, delivery challenges, and lessons learned on these transformative works.
Meanwhile, the Main Stage will feature thought-provoking presentations and panel discussions on industry-wide challenges and opportunities. Topics include addressing the skills shortage, integrated transport and precinct planning, sustainability in construction, harnessing new technology and more.
Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs and Finance Danny Pearson will also outline government priorities and the future of Australia’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
The Municipal and Solutions Hub Stage will deliver targeted sessions for local government and municipal professionals, including presentations around using stormwater infrastructure to address urban waterway pollution, building for growing communities, exploring sustainable solutions, digitising the worksite, skilling workers and more. These sessions are designed to provide practical knowledge and tools for implementation at the local level.
Across the Converge Expo exhibition hall, almost 100 exhibitors will bring the latest technology, products, and services to life. From established leaders to emerging innovators, attendees can see live demonstrations, engage directly with suppliers, and explore solutions shaping the future of infrastructure and construction.
