International Brian Cherry Concrete Symposium

The Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) is holding an International Concrete Symposium to highlight the achievements of Professor Brian Cherry of Monash University – ‘the father’ of corrosion science and engineering.
Brian has educated in the tertiary space as well as in the profession at conferences, seminars and symposia, and has researched and investigated ‘Reinforced Concrete Corrosion, Protection, Repair & Durability’ over many decades.
The Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) is holding an International Symposium to highlight the achievements of Brian in the areas of:
- Reinforcement corrosion in concrete
- Condition assessment
- Modelling and deterioration prediction
- Concrete repair and protection
- Cathodic protection
- Concrete durability options
The symposium will feature high calibre international and Australian speakers, a panel discussion and open forum, and a trade exhibition.
