The Sunshine Coast Council is now home to a new cyber defence centre in Maroochydore, with the official launch on 8 May 2023.
The Critical Infrastructure – Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (CI-ISAC) has been recruiting members and staff while establishing operations for the Maroochydore centre.
The centre is bringing together critical infrastructure cyber teams from across Australia to collectively defend themselves from cyber threats.
CI-ISAC Australia provides a not-for-profit, industry led ecosystem for sharing intelligence on cyber threats across CI sectors, is run by industry for industry and pledges to leave no member behind in the fight to defend the country against cyber-attacks.
CI-ISAC Chair, Stephen Beaumont AM, CEO, David Sandell and Co-founder, Scott Flower PhD, along with the Sunshine Coast Mayor, Mark Jamieson, will officially launch the not-for-profit organisation and invite prospective members from across Australia to join.
