Cardinia Shire Council (CCC) has given local businesses a chance to seek practical advice about internet service providers through two NBN Co information sessions.

The information sessions will cover important topics such as business connectivity, access to NBN grade fibre and best practices in cyber security.

Experts will also advise attendees on how to ensure they receive the best plan and services possible.

The drop-in events will run from 9am to 12pm on 12 July at Toomah Community Centre in Pakenham and on Wednesday 13 July from the Hills Hub in Emerald.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor, Jeff Springfield, said he was pleased that CCC could host these events for the local business community.

“Being able to facilitate such worthwhile events for our businesses ensures that they are given the opportunity to discuss their issues and misunderstandings directly with experts from the NBN,” Mayorr Springfield said.

“Business have told us that they are struggling to understand about internet connectivity and are asking for these information sessions, so it is great that we are able to provide them with direct links to the NBN experts.”

NBN Independent Business Advisors will also be there to help businesses select the best supplier for their needs and location.
