The Fraser Coast Community Expo is set to bring together dozens of local clubs and organisations, with free stalls still available for groups keen to get involved.
The free event will be held at the Hervey Bay PCYC on Sunday 15 February 2026 from 9.30am to 2.30pm, featuring up to 60 stalls showcasing sporting clubs, community groups, charities and service providers from across the region.
Fraser Coast Mayor, George Seymour, said the expo was designed to help residents discover what was on offer in their community.
“Our community is rich with groups and organisations that help people stay active, learn new skills, make friends and make a difference,” Seymour said.
“This event gives people a chance to explore new activities, services and ways to get involved, all in one place.”
Seymour said Council was partnering with the Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise to deliver the event as part of its focus on building connected, inclusive communities.
Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise President, Kevin Corcoran, said there was still time for local groups to secure a free stall.
“It’s not too late to get involved as a stallholder, with local community, sporting and not-for-profit groups still able to register for a free stall or display space,” Corcoran said.
“We’ve already had a strong response, with sporting clubs, aged and childcare providers, community groups, charities and food vendors signed up.
“With only 20 stalls remaining, groups are encouraged to register soon to secure a spot and showcase their organisation to the wider community.”
Corcoran said the expo was designed to appeal to residents of all ages and interests.
“The expo offers something for everyone, whether you’re curious about a new hobby, looking for ways to give back, or want to learn more about local services and opportunities.”
