Felton Industries, Australia’s leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of Australian-made premium aluminium outdoor furniture, has launched its new AVOCA range, a contemporary new line of customisable outdoor furniture that raises the bar for comfort, style, accessibility, and sustainability in public and commercial spaces.

The AVOCA range offers over 200 variations across benches, seats, park settings, and sheltered settings. Each product is available in multiple lengths and fixings, with optional add-ons that improve user experience and help site owners meet compliance and environmental targets.

Simon Clayton, product marketing manager, Felton Industries, said, “The new AVOCA range increases Felton’s offering of tailored, premium solutions across the streetscape and public parks space. It’s been a long time in the making, and Felton is proud to bring a range to market that’s highly durable, low-maintenance, and supports councils, job sites, health and aged care providers, and educational institutions in achieving their sustainability goals.

“Felton’s low-emissions aluminium uses just four carbon billets per hour in production, significantly less than the industry standard of 17.99, supporting green procurement initiatives across local government and education.”

The AVOCA range is available in both timber-look aluminium and traditional timber materials. The new timber-look aluminium battens are powder coated using an exclusive two-stage method that adds both texture and the aesthetic appeal of timber, without the risk of splinters, rot, or high maintenance. Customers can choose from three standard colour combinations: brown oak with charcoal frame; western red with surf mist frame; and western red with pale eucalypt frame. Custom colours are also available for bulk orders, and customers can also choose from hardwood options, including spotted gum and blackbutt profiles, for further design flexibility.

The batten profiles feature a contoured, curved design to enhance user comfort. This shape relieves pressure behind the knees and along the spine, improving usability across all age groups. Additional upgrades include Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)-compliant seating and tables for wheelchair access on the short side of tables without physical barriers, increasing accessibility for councils, healthcare facilities, and education providers. All DDA-compliant products can also be customised to specific requirements, including removable bench sides or modified configurations to meet individual accessibility needs.

Installation flexibility is built into the range, with both in-ground and surface-mounted options available. Products are offered in three standard lengths – 1,800mm, 2,020mm and 2,315mm – to accommodate a wide variety of outdoor layouts. These fixings make the AVOCA range suitable for secure installation on concrete, grass, or soil across diverse public and private environments.

“Comfort and compliance have always been critical to Felton customers; however, there’s now a stronger expectation that these outcomes must be delivered sustainably. The AVOCA range was engineered from the ground up using low-emissions aluminium and includes a seven-year warranty,” Clayton said.

“The range’s aluminium options offer a true ‘set and forget’ solution, with no need for oiling or ongoing upkeep, making them ideal for councils and facilities seeking durable, low-maintenance outdoor furniture.”

The AVOCA range includes standalone benches, backrest seats, four-sided pedestal settings, and multi-piece sheltered settings with integrated tables and seating. Upgrades, including Eco-Trend Solar, are available for clients seeking added safety and visibility without traditional power infrastructure.

The AVOCA range is available now. For more information and pricing options, visit felton.net.au or contact Felton on 1800 834 016.
